Voluntary Group Term Life | VADD | BIC

If you were recently hired and /or this is your first Open Enrollment, you may apply for VGTL for your self, spouse and child(ren) with guaranteed issue.

Voluntary Group Term Life insurance (VGTL) is an inexpensive form of life insurance offered through your employer and premiums are conveniently payroll deducted.  Benefit is paid to the beneficiary when a covered individual dies, providing financial security in the event of an unforeseen death.

Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment (VADD) insurance provides benefits if the cause of death or dismemberment is due to an accident-related incident.

Medical Expense / Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) - TASC | NO CARRYOVER

Medical Expense FSA allows you to pay for qualifying medical expenses on a pretax basis. Expenses can come from family medical deductibles, copayments, eye care expenses, prescription drugs, and family dental expenses. It is allowable to exempt medical expenses for yourself, your spouse, and all dependents you list on your federal tax return.

2024:  Healthcare FSA maximum:  $3,200

Dependent Care FSA maximum per household:  $5,000

Use-It or Lose-It:  Your employer does not allow Carryover.  All monies must be spent by the last day of your plan year or be forfeited.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) - TASC

Dependent Care FSA allow dependent care expenses for children under age 14, or a disabled spouse or person of any age who is unable (mentally or physically) to take care of him or herself and who spends at least eight hours a day in your home, to be deducted from your paycheck. The maximum dollar amount allowable under IRS regulations is $5,000 ($2,500 if married and filing separately) per plan year.
